Qualification

Candidates should possess M.Sc. or equivalent degree/ Integrated BS-MS/ BS-4 years/ BE/ B. Tech/B. Pharma/ MBBS with at least 55% marks for General (UR)/ General-EWS and OBC candidates and 50% for SC/ ST, Persons with Disability (PwD) candidates.

CSIR UGC NET Age Relaxation

Age relaxation criteria for the CSIR UGC NET June 2024 examination vary depending on the category and the position for which candidates are applying. For Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), the upper age limit is 28 years as of June 1, 2024. However, age relaxation is provided as follows:

  • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years of relaxation, making the upper age limit 31 years.
  • SC/ST/PwD/Female candidates: 5 years of relaxation, making the upper age limit 33 years.
