Brief: State bank of India (SBI), Central Recruitment & promotion department corporate center, Mumbai, invited applications for eligible Indian citizens for appointment as an officer in State Bank of India.
The selected candidates shall be posted in the applied circle only.
The vacancies are provisional and may vary depending on the bank’s actual requirement.
The candidates will have to apply for the vacancy of one state only. A candidate applying against the vacancy of one state will not be eligible to apply against the vacancy of any other state.
Candidature of the applicant will be considered only against the vacancies in the state for which he/she has applied. Merit list will be drawn State wise, category wise.
Selected candidates will be posted in the circle of that state against whose vacancy they are selected.
The selected candidates will not be entitled to inter circle transfer up to his promotion to SMGS-4 grade pr 12 years of service, whichever is later.
| ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA (A) Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the central government. (B) Age limit (as on 01.08.2020): Not above 30 years as on 01.08.2020 (C) Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience (D) Local language: candidates applying for vacancies of a state have to produce 10th or 12th mark sheet/certificate evidencing having studied the specific local language of the applied state as one of the subjects. |

SELECTION PROCESS The selection will be based on shortlisting and interview. However, the Bank reserves the right to conduct a written examination. <ere fulfilling minimum qualification and experience will not vest any right in a candidate for being called for interview. The shortlisting committee constituted by the bank will decide the shortlisting parameters and thereafter, adequate number of candidates, as decided by the bank will be shortlisted and called for interview. The decision of the bank to call the candidates for the interview shall be final. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard. Merit List: Merit list for selection will be prepared in descending order on the basis of scores obtained in the interview only. Merit list will be drawn statewide, category wise. In case more than one candidate score the cut off marks such candidates will be ranked according to their age in descending order, in the merit. |
