Indian Air Force has released the short notification of Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT – 02/2022) 2022. Through this examination, recruitment will be done in the Flying Branch and Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) of the Indian Air Force.

Qualification:
For Flying Branch: Four years BE or B Tech course from any recognized university with minimum 60% marks.
For Ground Duty (Tech): Must have passed 12th class with Physics and Mathematics subjects with at least 50% marks. Also must have done BE or B.Tech in relevant discipline.
For Ground Duty (Non Tech): There are 3 types of posts under Ground Duty Non Technical – Administration, Education, Logistics. The educational qualification is different for each post.
Application Fee:
- Rs.250/-
- No fee is required for NCC Special entry.
- No fee is required for Metrology entry.
Age Limit:
- Flying Branch – AFCAT – 20 to 24 years.
- Ground Duty (Technical & Non Technical) – 20 to 26 years.
Exam Pattern:
100 questions will be asked in the test of 2 hours 45 minutes which will be from General Awareness, Verbal Ability in English, Numerical Ability, Reasoning, Military Aptitude. The paper will be of 300 marks.
